The Certificate III in Applied Fashion Design and Technology combines subjects Pattern Making and Garment Construction (PMCG), Fashion Design, and Computer Aided Design and Illustration (CAD 1). This course gives students a strong foundation in design and production and ensures the knowledge and skills obtained is sufficient to transition into more advanced subjects. It is a great beginner course to foster creative & technical skills.

ASSESSMENT
Assessment requires completion of all assignments, set tasks, projects, tests & presentations. In order to develop knowledge and skills to successfully complete the course, students are required to be punctual and encouraged to attend all classes.

EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL

  • Current edition of Adobe Creative suite software package or access to Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Personal Laptop required (maximum 2 years old)

DURATION

  • 12 months
