The Certificate IV in Clothing Production combines subjects Couture and Advanced Couture Techniques (ACT). This course requires completion of the Certificate III in Clothing and textiles Production (or equivalent Pattern Making and garment Construction course. It is suitable for those wishing to pursue a career in clothing production, and for those who wish to gain advanced skills in made to measure tailored wear, costume and performance wear and embellishment techniques.

Assessment requires completion of all assignments, set tasks and projects. Assessment will also be marked on design, technique & construction capabilities and the capacity to use specialist machines. In order to develop knowledge and skills to successfully complete the course, students are required to be punctual and encouraged to attend all classes.
