In 2015, Fashion student Danit Peleg was the first person to design and 3D print an entire ready-to-wear collection from home. Studying at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Israel, this amazing effort was Danit’s graduate collection.
Danit’s motivation came from wanting to design her own textiles and manufacture her own clothes, combining this with a technology accessible to anyone. Before hitting the runway, Danit 3D printed shoes for the models to showcase 100% 3d printed materials on the catwalk.
Danit’s collection has gained global recognition from the fashion and tech industries. Shining a light on printed clothing, showing other emerging designers they too could be part of the evolution of the fashion industry.
